Overview

On April 12, we held the ROS 2 hands-on session. As announced in News No.27, participants worked step by step through ROS fundamentals, Gazebo simulation, node communication, and autonomous navigation, while sharing practical implementation tips.

Practice Content

  • Review of ROS 2 core concepts (nodes, topics, messages)
  • Docker environment setup and verification
  • Running TurtleBot3 simulation on Gazebo
  • Hands-on ROS communication (Publisher/Subscriber)
  • Autonomous navigation practice with a simple planner
