👨🏫Speaker Information
Haruhiko Adachi
Project Research Associate (Independent Position), Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University
「Research on Arthropod Morphogenesis and a Serendipitous Approach Born from It — Implications of Biological Embodiment for Physical AI —」
In this lecture, I will introduce the flow of my research activities from the start to the present, focusing on my research on arthropod morphogenesis. In addition to the main research on morphogenesis, I will also discuss 'detour' approaches to unexpectedly interesting phenomena encountered during my research. Without going into the details of individual experimental results, I hope to share a rough overview of how research progresses, including how to formulate research questions, change directions, and take detours, while also discussing how biological embodiment and structure can provide hints for Physical AI research.

- 2017: Graduated from Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Shinshu University
- 2020: JSPS Research Fellow DC2 (Kondo Lab, Osaka University)
- 2022: Completed Doctoral Program, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University
- 2022: JSPS Research Fellow PD (Osawa Lab, Nagoya University)
- 2023-Present: Project Research Associate (Independent Position), Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University
Takumi Matsuzawa
IGNITION Domain, New Business Development Division, Corporate Business Development Division, Corporate Strategy Division, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
「Social Implementation of Robotics Technology from the Perspective of Honda IGNITION Program」
I will introduce Honda's new business creation program IGNITION, and discuss the social implementation of robotics technology from two perspectives: as an entrepreneur support partner and as a robot user.
