Here is the announcement for KUPAC's December event.
This month, we are hosting two events on the same day, 12/17 (Wed)!

Part 1: Rhizomatiks × KUPAC Physical AI Talk Event

Time:15:30 - 16:10

We will welcome guests from Rhizomatiks, who are working on the application of physical AI in the art field, for a cross-talk event with Assistant Professor Yagi from the Graduate School of Informatics.

⚠️ Note: At the request of the speakers, Part 1 is limited to students and Kyoto University affiliates.

Part 2: 5th Physical AI Study Group

Time:16:45 - 19:30

Lecture 1: Trends and Insights from CoRL2025

Speaker:Koshi Makihara, Artificial Intelligence Research Center, AIST
He will talk about the trends and insights from CoRL2025, a top international conference on robot learning.

Lecture 2: Spiking Neural Networks

Speaker:Takehiro Habara, Doctoral Student, Graduate School of Informatics
He will talk about Spiking Neural Networks, which are expected to be the neural networks that operate at high speed and for long periods, required for physical AI.
